The first Fair was at the Plymouth Elementary Playground in 1938. All past and present Board Members and CEO’s have given their time, talents and energy to this historical Fair, helping secure its position as a cherished element to Amador County. The Fair is known for its Frontier Town setting constructed in 1965 as well as the Saw Mill and Gold Mine in full operation only during those four magical Fair days every year.
